If you’re a regular reader than you know meal planning is a big, darn deal to me.
Without meal planning we would eat out more than necessary (and sometimes when we don’t meal plan, we do eat out more than we should!).
We would spend too much money on groceries by buying things we don’t need, and we wouldn’t eat healthy because it’s too easy to grab chips and frozen items.
Now, I want to note that I’m all about balance. We’re a little closer than 70/30 than 80/20, but hey, we’re all a work in progress.
I wanted to take an updated look at my weekly meal planning template and include room for snacks. My snacking ebbs and flows, depending how busy I am at work, but what I’ve learned is that it’s important for me to have healthy snacks on hand for when the cravings hit.
